Some misleading info out there and we are trying to sort it out. TPG Tuning is indeed the first into the 10's with the new Supra. Their modifications are a tune, cat delete, unbolted rear section, and drag radials.

There are those who were at the track who say nitrous was used but TPG Tuning has not specified their mod list and we are not sure why.

This is the platform record but it would be nice to know if nitrous was used on this pass and what shot of nitrous:

Lame as hell when a tuner does this. They use nitrous to hit a record and then don't tell anyone and act like they did something special.

PTF is shady as hell too for acting like they got this car into the 10's when it was a big shot of juice. You were right to call them out.

PTF acting like it was their tune only doing this is exactly the problem. Go and look at comments on social media and people think this was with bolt ons because they specifically omitted mentioning the juice and deleted comments from people who said it was with juice.

It depends how it is tuned. This isn't really accurate. You can have nitrous setups that last longer because the extra torque is used sparingly compared to say a constant hit to the rods from a big positive displacement blower.

Nitrous also helps compensate for DA which is nice.
