BPC Getting Out of the Tuning Business?
Is this true?
Another site-
"I reached out and was told that they're unfortunately getting out of the tune business."
"They don’t even list any tunes for e9x other than for diesel and n54. It seems like they stripped down everything from their site."
Is this a glimpse of the future?
EPA and the Government threatening fine, sue or even to shut down businesses that 'tune' cars ECUs.
ECUs are EPA complient and changing any coding could potentially violate federal laws on this matter and the FEDs are just too big to mess with.
It is happening in California. MiniMax, a handheld tuner for diesels was fined over $1,000,000 by the EPA and was forced out of business.
What's going on? Who's next?
Future tuning could only be done by 'Offshore Companies' beyond the reach of the EPA and the Feds?MILVS- +1mm Increase Intake Valve Lift for N52, N55, S55, N20 Engines

They just cancelled their vendor profile without saying a word so I guess it's true, they're out.
