M2K Motorsports is the first to top 300 miles per hour in the standing mile with their twin turbo Ford GT

It was only a matter of time. Back in 2017 M2K Motorsports hit 293.6 miles per hour in the standing mile and speculation began on when someone would crack 300. Well, M2K Motorsports deserves tremendous credit as they are the first ones to pull the feat off.

Let it sink in for a moment that a tuner car is topping 300 miles per hour in just 1 mile. A top speed of 300 miles per hour itself is absurd but to do it in one mile just shows we are truly in the golden age of internal combustion performance.
