MHD N54 E85 flex fuel tuning finally reaches beta release
This has been in development forever seemingly with it being 'officially released' back in March of this year except that was not exactly the case. The reason? The software to go with it was not ready despite some software people at Motiv making unsubstantiated claims and even now it is being called a beta release by MHD.
Nobody said this stuff was easy and MHD deserves credit for sticking with it and making it work on the software side.
What you need to get started:

So far to date I have a handful of cars completed tuning and a ST 335is coming soon with MHD/Motiv FF setup. Everything turned out fantastic. The FF setup performed as promise.

How does the flex fuel box connect to the DME?
I assume we have to buy a special MHD "map"?

You add /replace some wires on the dme, and connect the box to a continental ethanol sensor.
If you get a custom tune it's not beta. Not sure if the ots maps are fully available yet.
It works great and makes filling up so much nicer not having to figure out the mix.
I don't have pi, so the highest ethanol I can run before the hpfp isn't happy is e40. Above that target load/boost stats lowering to keep the hpfp happy. Beautiful system.

I've had this setup since the closed beta started earlier this year. Tuning done myself, MMP stage 3's with PI and the flex fuel setup works perfectly. Love being able to just toss in 93 for long road trips then add a few gallons of e and power gets turned up automatically without having to do any cal changes. Dialing in the AIC map takes a little bit, but overall the system was super easy to install and tune

How have your MMP stage 3 turbos been treating you? I have been following some threads and social media. Good to see some people still doing well. The first releases with the welds were kind of scary and made me stay away. Glad it’s worked out so far. I hope to see people with MMP 1ks chime up a bit.

Pretty great, I'll agree that the welded turbine housing isn't the most professional or pretty approach but it works. I've talked to guys with 30k+ miles on them without issues. Mine have done about 15k, with the last 8k miles being >600whp. Yeah I'll be interested to see results from them, honestly I don't see them putting down 850 or even 800whp I think closer to 750whp will be realistic
