Well it tells you a bit about how much air is being forced in to create that kind of pressure.
Of course we can appreciate it but can we also appreciate a decades old BMW I6 with some boost thrown at it is matching the top GTR's which employ far more technology, boost pressure, and need rebuilds after each run whereas this drag car can go again, and again, and again?

Different engines, different turbos. Doesn't make much sense to compare. If we're talking CFM it makes more sense.
Maybe you know more about the boostin performance GTR than I.. but i doubt it, and i know barely anything about it. Why are you claiming they rebuild the engine after each run? You do realize I'm not even talking about the Tony Palo's GTR or the AMS GTR? I doubt BP use this as a daily driver, but its perfectly capable of it.2015 F10 M5 \ Alpinweiss

Y I K E S. Y'all need to chill.
Comparing the GTR platform to a promod is inappropriate. As already stated the differences between them are many. They are both respectable in their own right, but the GTR has it "easy" here. The AWD+DCT combo give it a huge advantage. Besides, the S38 powered promod is still getting the setup dialed in.
I respect both cars for different reasons. Comparing them simply because they are in a somewhat similar E/T bracket is not appropriate.JB4, Fortune 500 coilovers, Berk Race muffler delete

idk what kinda street car has an aluminum rod built motor. Aluminum deforms ever so slightly after multiple passes and heavy abuse, but they are light and considered a throw-away rod.
From my experience in drag racing, those rods were good for like 50 passes or so and then you chuck em and replace.

You missed my point. I put easy in quotes for a reason. Easy != simple.
What I meant was the GTR has a formula it can follow, which all but guarantees quick times in the 1320. Many of the problems and issues related to getting a GTR to such times have been encountered and solved already.JB4, Fortune 500 coilovers, Berk Race muffler delete
