Lol this makes me so jelly! I wish my m2 had the b58 lol. The only reason why I currently, importance is the key emphasis on currently, prefer the n55 is because it's an older motor so development is finally happening on it so there are abundance of parts now coming to the market. Also because it's race proven (correct me if I'm wrong) on the m235ir unlike the s55 or B58 (safety cars don't count imo). Personally I'd probably like to have a B58 for the sole reason that it seems so much easier to work on, not so much about it being better closing the deck can be done after market and a turbo is easily upgraded imo.

On the M2 it is a proven race engine as the oil pan and pick up system is made for high G's on cornering, as well as the M235R (same oil pan as S55) However a regular N55 does not have that oil pan and secondary pick up and suffers from oil starvation on the track. The B58 looks very promising and looks like it has potential for racing. I have gone to track days on our M240i and it definitely moves! The oil pan design on the B58 is good for the track and looks like the oil starvation problem is solved on this.

    New Wastegated Manifold Testing

Because we are committed with our customers we have a fully developed wastegated exhaust manifold which allows full boost control without compromising performance!

The reason we developed this new manifold was because some cars varying on weather conditions and additional hardware were building boost very fast while the DME wasn't fast enough to control the boost correctly, causing throttle oscillations. The external wastegate keeps the twin scroll division so the awesome response these cars were having is kept but allowing full top end performance without throttle closures.

All these tests were done on 93 octane fuel and throttle body injection.

Mods: Stage 3 turbo with wastegated manifold and manual boost controller, Throttle Body Injection with #24 jet, Jb4, BMS intake. Stock catback exhaust. V.8 firmware

Here there are different maps and settings, dyno and log.

Most graphs have the boost which is named as user analog 1.

Attachments were broken. My apologies. Fixed now. I'll clean up the big boost post for them if they want.

We surpassed the 600 whp barrier!

Yes, you read right! The first B58 in the world to go past the 600 whp mark!
So after developing the new wastegated manifold we are now able to go over 23 psi without having overboosting and throttle closures.

    Test conditions:

    M240i B58
93 octane + full concentration octane booster
BigBoost Throttle Body Injection (#24 jet)
BigBoost Stage 3 turbo with 5964 turbo
Map 7 70 boost additive and 20 fua
    Stock catback exhaust
    BigBoost new wastegated turbo manifold
    BMS V.8 T12 firmware
    BigBoost 2.5" upper chargepipe
    BMS Intake
