PTF Bootmod3 OTS E85 tuned F80 M3 on factory S55 turbos in the 10's - 10.9@126

10's in the 1/4 mile are pretty routine at this point for the BMW F80 M3 and F82 M4. Even on the factory S55 turbochargers 10's are not a problem for the platform. What makes this run impressive is that the tune is an OTS (off the shelf) map from PTF for E85 fuel.

As this car is running 100% E85 it does have secondary port fuel injection. Beyond that, just your usual bolt ons.

E85, OTS Bootmod3 flash, port fuel injection, and 26 psi plus bolt ons results in a 10.959 @ 126.86. Not bad at all with more left on the table.

Running 10's on stock turbos and an OTS tune is pretty damn good! The F80 suspension definitely wasn't designed for drag racing. I wonder how much more could be gained with a custom tune.

I wonder that as well. With a custom tune what will it do?

That is not an OTS tune.. That car is FAST for a stock turbo f8x.. Possibly fastest stock turbo f8x? Probably has a few mph/tenths in it as is in cooler temps if he can hook up the same.

PTF Has some very nice OTS tunes. I ran their E50 tune on my F80 before we created our own E85 tune. Clean, smooth and plenty of power throughout the RPM band.
