7 year old HPFP, and no mention of how old the injectors are, clear fuel related issues in all the logs, yet people are talking about spark plugs? Click here to enlarge Address the aging fuel system, including the HPFP, and the new index 12 injectors properly installed, and coded. Properly reset the adaptions, NOT using MHD, but a proper tool like INPA. $500 says your car runs like new.

the 2 step colder are not needed, but if you're running over 600 whp they might be a good idea. I run them and I'm not 600 whp, with no problems, but I wouldnt go out and buy a set just to have them if you're current ones are working fine.

I agree with tony that I'd replace your injectors in bank 1 if you dont mind spending the money. I know replacing the HPFP and all 6 injectors is a lot of money.

Perhaps you missed the post where plugs did in fact resolve his issue? Click here to enlarge

I ordered an ECA kit from Amazon just to make sure. But I'm also thinking gas is OK since during the pull corrections are absent

Thanks for the feedback. If you look at the most recent log from today the fueling should be logging better. I just recently jumped on the E85 bandwagon so the original logs were still a work in progress.

Please re-read the first post. Injectors are very new and are index 12. I'm trusting the BMW tech coded them properly but anything is possible. I have INPA so I could cross reference what it reads vs. what is printed on the injectors. And I know if the retaining elements aren't installed that can lead to problems too.

Stage 2 lpfp is relatively new. HPFP is older but if you look at the most recent log from today it looks to performing adequately as far as I can tell.

What specific parameters should be reset via INPA?

That makes sense as far as plugs. I'll stick with what I have since that cured the misfires and superknock.

I'll see where more tuning gets me on post shift timing correction. And if I'm getting nowhere will verify injectors are coded correctly. I know the tech that installed him - I can call him and see if he remembers if he installed the decoupling elements.

If all else fails, I'm not opposed to replacing the high pressure pump as that is way older than all the other hardware.

Oh I missed that 1. I used you're when I should have used your, and 2. that you have index 12 injectors in there already.

Given that personally if you're HPFP pressure isnt dropping below 2000 psi and you're not having corrections during the pull like you are I wouldnt worry about it. Sorry I missed that in the thread earlier.
