I would think any decent mechanic should be able to help with this.

So let's get somebody better than that @alex@ABRhouston

    you would be surprised..

im pretty decent, changed the smg clutch on both my e46 m3 and e60 m5... installed the as super charger on that m3 as well...

but i cant find a decent vacuuum line on this motor since its "backwards" the vacuum lines for the brake booster etc seem to be run from a vacuum generator pump, it almost seems as if i would have to drill/tap the intake manifold , or fab a spacer for the stock map sensor (or tap into its electronics)

I don't doubt you. You may want to try @Terry@BMS as well.

Bump for wanting the same info. Pre and post tune my OBDII/tablet setup still only read 17.4 PSI when I should be pushing 21 PSI.

So what is the reason for this?

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I randomly get a reduced power warning so I've got all new PCV lines coming to make sure I don't have boost leaks, but my tablet reads 17.4 max like clockwork, so either I've got a very accurate boost leak, the sensor feeding the OBDII is wrong or maybe some parameter within Torque is wrong. I figured my best course of action now is to connect a manual boost gauge and hope for the best.

Don't you have anyone that help you diagnose? A tuner perhaps?

Tuner has understandably thrown his hands up until I resolve the reduced power warning, otherwise he claims I should be pushing 21 +/- like clockwork...M5 guys are touching on 30 PSI/1000HP (with meth, heavy tuning, intake & exhaust) but they're using piggyback tools like JB4 and a wastegate actuator that only work on F series vehicles at the moment. For now I need to resolve my reduced power, push a stage 3 tune spraying meth and of Pure turbos and hopefully by then BMS will give the E__ bodies and non TU engines some love so I can start pushing beyond 21 PSI.

Lfundgren or something like that on the boards, the website is www.morepower.dk, send me an OBDII dongle, cord, software and then a modified file I flashed myself.

I know the torque app reads boost wrong on N55s. Might be fine, it is just reading wrong. Can't help with the manual boost reading.

Ah, @lfelunden. He should be helping you fix this.

Him and I talk over WhatsApp...maybe thrown his arms up was a bad choice of words. I've gotta replace the remaining PCV lines to eliminate them as a possible vacuum/boost leak since smoke testing netted me zero results, then if I no longer get the reduced power warning, that'll be a big issue resolved.

I still need to find a location for where to drill & tap for an analog boost line. I've written P3 Cars about their vent gauge since it supposedly reads accurately, they include a way to convert analog to digital, they replied to my messages right up to the point where asked for a copy of their PDF since they've listed PDF's and/or videos for just about every other car they sell their gauges for.

No, I'm still doing a few more things before heading out to Bimmerfest on Wednesday before leaving from Seattle. I've replaced one of the PCV lines, I've got one of the drivers side I need to swap and I'm going to try and replace all the vacuum lines as well. I bought a custom intake tubing and filter kit, then plan on ultimately deleting all the PCV stuff for a catch can system. I'm at work now, but I'll post pics soon Click here to enlarge

James, Did you ever find a spot to tie into for analog boost pressure?
