Fastest 535i: [email protected]
As the title states I took my car to SGMP 1/4 mile track and clocked this time off. This was my 1st pass after a 125 mile 2 hour drive with no cool down. My 2nd and 3rd pass didn't work too well. I'll state what happened in each.
1st pass: [email protected] w/ 1.62 60'
Again this was after my two hour drive with no cool down. Boost was set to 23# midrange and taper to 21# at redline. Running 5gal 93 and the rest E85, need to step up to a Stage 3 fuel setup and is happening by Feb.
JB4 1st gear boost was limited to 18# as I was worried about blowing the tires off. As you can see by the 60' the car hooked very well. I had 2nd and 3rd gear boost limiter turned off.
I short shifted 1st gear at 6500 in Manual mode and let the car auto shift in Manual mode the rest of the track.
2nd pass: After being in the staging lanes for an hour due to a big tire V8 spraying coolant down the track the car cooled off. Actually the car cooled off too much and the oil temps didn't get up to operating temp (160 barely). I still proceeded to to do my burnout in the water box and came up to the line and staged. Not looking at the oil temps I thought they would have been up to temp by that time. Which to my demise they were not and stock boost the whole track and went 12.0@113
Also, before this run since the car dead hooked on the 1st run I decided to turn off the JB4 1st gear boost limiter. To try and get my 60' into the 1.5s if possible.
So the 2nd run was a complete wash.
3rd and final run: After more and more broke ass V8s I was worried I wouldn't get another run in before they closed. I know the car had another 0.1-0.2 in it especially with turning of 1st gear boost limit and wringing out 1st to 6900 before shifting. Which would have picked up another 1-2mph and a little better 60'.
After, the 2nd run one hour fiasco waiting this time around I started the car every 15min to idle for 5min before shutting off.
Finally, the track staging lanes were closed so this was my last and final run for all the marbles. Again I fully turned off the JB4 1st gear boost limiter and was going to wring out 1st gear to 6900 instead of short shifting.
Burnout......pulled up.....pre staged....inched up staged....lights drop......brakes and gas pressed to the floor.....rpms came up to 2500.....let brake fly....and off I went.
The 60' felt great and as I came up to 6900rpm in 1st I wrapped the paddle shifter and at that very moment the TCU decided it wanted to shift also . So the damn car went from 1st to 3rd instantly I just said the hell with it and stayed in it.
The 60' was my best @ 1.60 and the sucker still went [email protected] If you compare the 3rd run to the 1st run it was only 0.3 seconds slower and 0.5mph slower all the while completely bypassing 2nd gear.
I feel confident the car would have gone [email protected]. I'm still happy with the results for the 1st time at the 1/4 mile and with only 1 good clean pass....and after two hours of driving.
I have a ton more mods coming up in the spring. Next time I'll have 3# more boost with no taper and full E85, as my Stage 3 fuel setup will be done. It will go high 10s for sure then. Not going to give all my tricks just yet not until I beat that nitrous E60 M5 on Dragtimes that went 10.57@130. Then I'll unofficially be the fastest E60 in the world. Once everything is all said and done and the transmission upgrade is complete I plan on turning it up to about 31#. End goal is 10.4-10.5@133-135

Thanks man...maybe then I can be on your feature page?
Thanks Terry your JB4 has been working flawlessly for me this past year.
Yeah man I remember you the fast blue IS. Sorry I forgot your name though? Yeah I got two runs in before being rained out. 151.2 and 150.4
I was having TMAP issues in 4th and 5th kicking out all boost so the car fell on its face. I installed a 4bar the day before Clayton and it kept screwing up on me and unfortunately I didn't bring my old 3.5bar. It's ok my next 1/2 mile I'll see 160-165 more than likely with all my new stuff I'll be adding next year.
Logs sent David......yeah I can't wait to get these turbos cranked up some more!
Do I know you who are you? Only hot girls ride in my car. Just wait Dave till the spring and you log in the car after all the new goodies I install.**WORLD'S FASTEST 535i**

Quickest and fastest 535i - BimmerBoost member runs [email protected] with Hexon turbo upgraded N54 E60 535i
Nice work here by BimmerBoot member @nitemare who will likely be breaking into the 10's shortly and in so doing will be the first 535i in the 10's. For now, he is the quickest and fastest E60 535i N54 with a 1/4 mile run of 11.271 @ 124.59.
The E60 N54's do not get a lot of love so BimmerBoost wanted this run to get the exposure it deserves. It is pretty much a game of volume as to why the 135i and 335i models get more N54 tuning attention. That does not mean the E60 535i is not capable as this sprint shows:
What is the mod list? As follows:
Hexon RR700s / JB4 G5 / Trebila tune / BMS Meth kit / MFactory 3.46 LSD / Fuel-It Stage II / ADE Port Injection / Full E85 / VRSF large Turbo inlets / VRSF kittyless DPs / VTT turbo outlets / custom 3.5" single exhaust / VRSF CP / Tial BOV / Rev9 FMIC / RB PCV fix kit / RaceStar Drag Star 17" & 15" wheels / Custom 15" rear wheel conversion
The 15 inch drag wheel conversion helps big time with the 60 foot. A 1.627 is a nice launch for an E60.
What is next? Well, hopefully 10's:

Outstanding op! Well done.
I'm considering a muffler delete on my car but as it's a daily driver, not sure if it'll be too loud.
Wastegates sound horrific at times as well. Turbos going in this month hopefully though. Not got any resonators at the moment. Was going to straight pipe it.Best:11.79@119mph on stock turbos.
11.74@129 on GCs.
FBO+Meth Port injection, GC Turbos, custom bucketless stage2, JB4, Trebila flash.
