BMW F82 M4 on E85 with port fuel injection makes 692 wheel horsepower with PTF BM3 tuning and Pure Turbos Stage 2 S55 upgrade

These are some very nice numbers. Let's start with that this BMW F82 M4 is running 100% E85 ethanol. Of course that puts a tremendous strain on the direct fuel injection system so this car has supplemental port fuel injection for the S55 motor.

The turbochargers are upgraded to Pure Turbos Stage 2 units. We have seen great results from these turbos on the S55 engine.

Now, the tuning is the big deal here. Tuning is done through the Bootmod3 system from PTF (Pro Tuning Freaks). This allows real OBD-II flash tuning of the S55 engine control unit (ECU). A JB4 piggyback from BMS is also utilized.

Boost is 34 psi taper to 31 psi.

The results are awesome:

692 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque at the wheels on a Dynojet.

It's going to be interesting to see how Bootmod3 from PTF changes things in tuning these modern BMW turbo ECU's.

It almost flatlines 680 ish until redline. Must be a beast! Did they have to change out the TMAP sensor to run higher boost or is it just rescaled in BM3?

Thats alot of power from twins. Wonder how long the motor will hold up.
