What is triggering my Torque Lim. Active 4?
I'm getting Torque Limiter Active 4 every time. See below:
http://datazap.me/u/bradsm87/rev25?l...8&zoom=377-473
Are any of these tables set incorrectly?
I'm 6AT running 7603537 Alpina flash.
I really don't want to lower calculated torque. I'd much prefer to find what's causing the limit and fix it.

torque limiter in the TCU flash.
we should be able to raise this torque limiter once the tcu flasher will be released, and all main tcu tables discovered.
for now, you need to lower your DME torque targets.

Thanks mate.
I was hoping the TCU would not request a torque limit so early. I'm only running 16psi. @WedgePerformance , what do you do with yours?

Are you running a flat 1.0 in the first few cells of the "torque eff divisor (fuel)" table? I would try stepping that down closer to stock values bottoming out at 0.8 and seeing if that helps.
It will just lower reported torque but only when running really rich which is only at high load rather than messing with the "load to torque" which seems to cause strange transmission behaviour for some. I don't think the stock values are representative of actual torque output but neither is using 1.0 across the richer afr range.
Wedge made a good post about reported torque in the huge MHD thread at e90post. Just clearing up the difference in reported torque between AT, AT with Alpina, MT and DCT. I really should have taken note of the exact quote but I'm sure he'll repeat it if you send him a PM on the issue.
I've never seen Tq Lim 4 get triggered like that before, normally just during shifts. There could be a another torque table you have missed, the ones you posted do look OK though.

The odd thing is, it's quiet after shifting into 4th and the only real differences at that point are you don't hit the leaner AFR and are starting full load at higher RPM. If it only does it as you go through leaner areas, you might want to change your break to something closer to 13.5:1 and mess with tq eff divisor there, but either way, you're likely going to have to lower the torque output in some fashion to stop it, whether it's AFR, load, RPM, L2T.
All the ATs I've even bothered to look at were definitely all in the 600s and having various limiter issues at some place in there. If it's not slipping for the torque you're making, shifting solid and not hitting a limiter at say 600nm instead of 625, I'm not sure how big a deal it really is. Ken would be a good one to ask for sure. If you run across that post in the thread, please point it out, I'd be curious to read it myself.

They were all stock at the time of starting this thread. I was hoping not to have to lower reported torque, but I have started to lower it in the LTT1,2,3 now. The area where torque limit 4 is active is narrower, so I'll go a little further and log again.

Ty Martial makes sense. Yes i have the stock tcu flash and cant do alpina (its a 12/2006 build). Its interesting to see torq limit kick in as low as 1900rpm and 9psi boost in 5th only. Its high torque but not sure 390 lbft.

To "fix" this there's no magic table, although there are multiple that help. You need to make sure boost, load, and calculated torque etc are all in line with no overshoot, and that's just to begin with. Other things that can cause it are slip but for the log I saw here it's not related to that.
