Little more info. What we're talking about in this thread is the same kit we released over 2 years ago, but now we have better control. We tried a different set up on the race car for fun, but it essentially does the same thing as this set up will.

Here is a link to the 2.5 year old thread discussing the kits.

So essentially, one just needs the adapter from secondary HPFP to the current PI controller, remove PI, and updated map?

That's correct. You don't even need to remove the pi, you could leave in place and unplug the injectors. Obviously most will remove to recoup costs.

    This development is awesome!!!!

I see my personal car along with at least two of my clients' cars (one of which is currently getting a single barrel and Fuel-It stage 3 put in) running DI only setups and GC turbos on straight E85 and making around 600rwhp over the next few months. You already said you don't need testers, but can you just put me first on the pre-order list?

Sticky you're starting to remind me of this kid I know who is a flat earther. There's a bunch of white paper out there that states DI is better then PI. Shoot just look at what the F1 teams are doing esp Mercs with their turbulent jet ignition set up. DI is the future.

*than and it's better if you're into fuel economy I guess.

The F1 teams are not allowed to refuel. It's being applied to make F1 'green' not faster. They actually wanted to slow the cars down hence all the fueling restrictions.

Would this replace of having to use a hobb switch to activate it?

How is someone even going to test if the secondary pump becomes activated or not?

You'll absolutely see it in logs showing fuel pressure. It's a bit of a step increase.

That's definitely not the case. The current F1 cars esp the Mercs. Word on the streets is that they're making almost 1000hp. Furthermore they are using half the amount of fuel that the 2004 v10 cars are using. Just wait to the 2017 spec cars come out. They're supposed to break all the 2004 car records.

You're quite incorrect and if you would like to debate this in one of the Formula 1 threads on the topic that already cover how the cars are slower feel free.

They were making 'only' 1500 hp in the 80's: http://www.bimmerboost.com/content.p...-four-cylinder

    Let's keep this on topic.

And the engines blew up during qualifing it's well known they never ran that power during the race. They hover somewhere around 800hp hence why most of the F1 records are held by the 2004 cars. These motors are are pushing 1000hp in actual race trim and the fact they aren't blowing up left and right is crazy.

Look man I'd love to correct everything you're writing with facts such as Formula 1 engines made much more power decades ago in race trim AND qualifying than they do now but this isn't a Formula 1 thread. There are Formula 1 threads.

    Back on topic.

Can't wait to bring my car over to you guys once you have it sorted out!

500rwhp/500rwtq should be easily attainable with this kit on 100% E85 with stage 2 LPFP right? (+FBO, inlets, stage2+ turbos)
