Unless he has years of N54 experience he is 100% not the best N54 tuner in the country, or out of the country for that matter. I have seen, and heard of some of the best tuners in the world trying their hand at the N54, and making much less power then the experienced tuners, because they do not have the patience to take the time needed to learn the platform. Having a non experienced N54 tuner, try to tune a never before tested kit, is a very good way to delay the kit even more.

Most all N54 Charge pipes are a full 3" its the intercooler that is usually 2.5". Also just two solid tubular mounts going from the block to the subframe? I cannot imagine that is easy on the molars. Kit looks decent, honestly with this much time in, I expected a much cleaner set up. Performance, and price will tell the tale on this one.

Kit looks pretty good aside from the motor mount and steel charge piping. It boggles my mind why people use steel instead of aluminum for charge piping...

I have a er chargepipe which reduces on the end so its not true 3inch. And they released info on this kit too far in advance with too much hype on it. Its not even close to done yet and still no dyno numbers or logs.

Pretty funny how much bashing is going on yet no one knows anything about the kit other than some prototype images being seen. Stainless is cheaper than aluminum? We all are BMW enthusiast why does everyone try to knock on each other? Competition and good feedback with get the BMW community a lot further along.

I've been waiting months to pull the trigger on a kit until this one shows results.

We have worked with Leen at Steedspeed for many years building E36 turbo systems using steedspeed manifolds to produce some of the most powerful and reliable 800+ hp daily driven street cars out there for this platform. We have been ready to do a 335 build for quite some time now, and Leen was able to fit us in to design a new manifold for the N54 motor that we wanted to base our next kit off of. We have posted a thread over on bimmerforums where we are a supporting vendor with information and pictures of our prototype BW 8374 EFR IWG single turbo kit that is in the works on our 335 N54 project car, utilizing the new steedspeed bottom mount twinscroll manifold that has been discussed in this thread. Since we cannot post links, If the forum moderator allows, we will be happy to post more info here as well.

    Hi, welcome.

If you want to use the forum to post pictures, updates, and generate interest for your product I suggest you become a vendor. E-mail [email protected] to discuss this.

Posting and telling others to go to another forum is first of all unprofessional and secondly you are attempting to circumvent the rules.

You have Steedspeed already posting and now CES is trying to jump on and get free exposure as well? Kindly follow the vendor rules.

They know what to do in order to post updates on their products, support them, talk to potential customers, etc. They do it on another forum already with far harsher vendor rules so I'm honestly stunned they think I'm going to allow them to circumvent our rules by going to a competitor that banned me a loooong time ago. Heh, not going to happen and I can't believe that was even a suggestion.

This thread is 21 pages long. I think that's more than enough free advertising, don't you? I have vendors who think so.

Unfortunately I have a lot of work around here to do. Have fun guys.

If she really was going I'd be there. I'd also ask you both to leave so we could have time alone.

+1000. from the little that I have heard, this tuner is awesome on the e36 m3 platform....but not so much when it comes to n54s. I could be wrong though.....have to wait and see i guess.

I think this has gone on long enough.

Those looking for a new turbo kit option should check out this one from one of our vendors: http://www.bimmerboost.com/content.p...rwhp-at-30-psi
