    Question LPFP not priming anymore?

    Hey guys,

Little odd. Just started out of the blue. Went into my car the other morning and always when opening the driver door the LPFP kicks in and primes for a few seconds. Well a few days ago it stopped doing it. Also noticed at the same time as it not priming anymore the car would take forever to start (long cranks). I did some logs (attached below) and everything seems to be fine fuel wise. I am running a tad rich but other then that fueling looks good. Anyone has this problem or know of anything it could be? I checked the Fuel pump fuse, that was fine. any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    Tom

Sounds like a bad LPFP sensor.

Figured It would throw a code if it was the LP Sensor. I could swap it out for a new one and see I guess. anyone else?

Mine doesn't prime as much as it used to. I figured it was due to my battery going out which is causing other issues such as no comfort access and no rear defroster. However mine starts up just fine despite no priming. No codes.

If you do a new battery without coding it the lpfp prime can be spotty.

Good to know, I'll need to do my battery soon and I have noticed my LPFP not prime when the car sees the battery is low.

for the last 3 years, ever since i had my walbro 450 installed, the car primes sometimes, and sometimes it does not. has never affected performance of the pump or starting. *shrug*

Use INPA and try clearing ALL codes in ALL modules. When my battery was crapping out and things were turning off I did this and everything started working again for a few weeks until it realized that the battery was still bad. Worth a shot.

When my car stopped priming , it was the EKP module . Fuel pump controller .
