I'm guessing you know by now Jake works for Motiv, so if you put them out of business he'll be out of a job, lol.

I am looking forward to seeing the results, a 9180 is interesting to me to see how it spools, etc.

Water outlets and oil fittings machined and shipped out! The car can now be assembled and we shall see what we have.

Looking into those EFR turbos more and 8374 seems like a turbo that would be a nice performer. It's not too big yet not small either. also, reading the twin scroll section info they provide has me bent on that set up!

Totally agree. Really want to see this set up. Should make for a fun street strip package.

What kind of bothers me is the fact that I don't really see any other cars that are high horsepower with log style manifolds... I didn't really search for it but I'm always looking at stuff online and never came across log manifolds. .... Obviously I'm not saying that it will not be good I'm just a little nervous LOL

Motiv900 kits? A Motiv kit has the unofficial record, possibly official too now.

Everyone knows they make a great kit. I just want to see if there is any spool advantage to be had with the efr and being twin scroll since I'm 6at.

They have a 1/4 mile record. I dont care about that. I want to see efficient spool and top end power. I dont want to buy a kit just because it makes 600hp..its not hard to do that with this car at all. Thats why im waiting and not jumping the gun. I want the best turbo along with the best manifold.

I believe the Motiv kits also have the fastest spool for single kits thus far as well. We'll see what happens when this kit drops though, but I'm not predicting any huge differences.

To be honest ..I think a guy with the VM kit spooled the 6266 the fastest. Once dyno sheets are released we will have to gather all of them and do an overlay

I dunno. I found the 6466G2 to spool about as fast as my 20T twins (20psi at 3300rpms on the street), 300ft lbs at 2700 rpms on a non-loaded dyno, with only 7 degrees advance. The 6466 is a lot bigger than the M750 turbo as well. It'd be cool to overlay the charts (I'm at 26psi).

Probably will not be a true log manifold judging by cutaways on his other manifolds. Not much point having twin scroll if both sides are constant pressure, so he must have accounted for this with the way the passages are machined.

Pictures look pretty good. Only thing I see I dont like is. He is trying to tell people a 9174 is going to have stock spool, that is honestly embarrassing. NOTHING will have stock spool, except well stock turbos, let alone a giant EFR. Just sell the kit on power potential, because trying to tell people a turbo of that size is going to have stock spool is borderline deceiving.

Borderline deceiving? Even saying borderline deceiving is just deceiving. Lol. He is flat out talking out of his ass. I am honestly interested to see how it performs.

I'm surprised you described it so charitably.

This. There's nothing borderline about describing a single turbo as 'stock spool'. It's invalid on its face.

I was trying to be nice, as I honestly think they haven't tested anything yet, and he is being optimistic. Thing is not going to have stock spool. We all know it.

Ps. Sorry about yesterday, your team really $#@! its pants.

You are telling me. It's cool, I try not to take fantasy too seriously or it starts to get in the way of actual work.
