JB4 still has a lot more to offer.
But if you really want to run flash only, we recently designed a cool device for Wedge that he intends to market as a flash only 3.5bar TMAP sensor alternative. It plugs directly in to the 3.5bar and then rescales the signal in such a way that MHD has programmed the flash side to convert to actual boost in logs. No need to enter DME box it plugs right in to the N20 sensor. Direct any inquires to Wedge.

lol yes uses same chassis as a JB+. Only with an N20 TMAP connector on one end, and special firmware that alters the input according to a function that Martial provided to integrate with special MHD logic. It's a nifty and easy to use device. Not sure what retail price will I expect it will be very reasonable.
I still think you guys are crazy not to use the JB4 in at least some capacity though. For example on the boost by gear, you can change them in seconds without flashing the DME, and during a run you just press volume down to "bypass" the limit. I use it all the time when using the 3rd gear limiter. Once the car gets traction I press the button to kill the limiter.
On the flash developments, very nice work! There is so much potential now to improve things now that we have DAMOS file access and people willing to dig in to it. The knock tables alone are a god-send. The more stuff gets unlocked the better both stand alone flash and JB4 back end flash maps can perform.Burger Motorsports

It ended up being a LOT more involved than a timer table, Josh@Cobb wasn't lying
Yep, it is physically the same table, just has been renamed as it now serves a new purpose.
You do not need to have the same load all the way down, you can increase it as RPM's rise, for example
shhhh, we can't talk about this bc California lol. There may be something there though...
There will be an announcement regarding this in a day or two, so keep watch. Don't want to get off topic in this thread though.

Jake, to use this would we need to have the logic in your custom bin in addition to the new tables? That is have to start with your bin or is there a way to transfer the logic to our own bins?

Still working out these details. The easiest will probably be a flash-time checkbox, so all you will have to do it set up the Load Target and Load Target Adder by Gear tables in your bin how you want them, then check the option at flash time, and everything else will be done for you.

@Terry@BMS - the new XDF logic will now allow not only Load by gear but also by RPM (for each gear) which I asked for a long time ago. Are you willing to reconsider implementing the feature now?

If you guys all have awesome results with it I'll reconsider. But for now I still see it the same way I saw it years ago when I tested it both ways, as unnecessary complication.
To test these boost by gear tables out with the JB4 in place you'll just have to set your JB4 by gear boost limits lower than the lowest limit on the flash side and enable mode 4/3 so the JB4 takes the higher of its target and the flash target. Or I can just add in a FUD to allow it to work on 4/2.Last edited by Terry@BMS; 08-05-2015 at 01:12 PM.
