    Well, the internals are different, that is a fact. And the thing is...it seems to have some serious heat issues, since the automatic cars are the ones having the real heat problems. So overall, I'm not super impressed with it.
    I'm not disagreeing about the heat but the internals function similarly. The main difference really is the torque converter.

    We're strictly evaluating if the GM 8L90 can shift as quickly as an auto as I found the claim absurd but the more I researched the more I realized in theory it is very close. It may be faster than many dual clutch boxes even.

    The "Feel" of a car has and always will be purely subjective. I really wish Cadillac and Mercedes would make a car that is better than the M4, especially if Cadillac could do it for a lower price point. Then I could vote with my wallet. Until that day comes, i'll just enjoy the M.

    I also agree with all the skepticism of which tune manufacturers are running for these tests. Aside from that, I have been running a JB4 on the M making somewhere north of 500 hp and it never overheats, and can still get 25+ mpg in the middle of summer.
