Evolution Performance gets over 900 wheel horsepower on a stock internal 5.0 2015 Mustang GT Coyote V8 with a Vortech V-7 JT supercharger
This is not the first time the new Mustang has cracked 900 wheel horsepower with some boost on the stock internals. What makes this result even more impressive is that it is done with a supercharger and not twin turbochargers. A Vortech V-7 JT centrifugal supercharger unit to be precise.
Now to hit over 900 wheel horsepower Gulf Racing Fuel Mach 116 Unleaded was used and boost should obviously be dialed back for pump fuel. Evolution Performance recommends the following:
91 Octane - 9.5lbs
93 Octane - 12lbs
100+ Octane - 15lbs
If going for big numbers on stock internals definitely up the octane. As far as the supporting modifications the GT features Injector Dynamics ID1000 Fuel Injectors, TiAL Sport Q 50mm BOV, Evolution Air-To-Water Intercooler System with an Evolution Super Stealth Plenum, American Racing 1 7/8 Longtube Headers with Off Road X-Pipe. and aPure Thunder Exhaust.
They also got over 800 wheel horsepower through the factory exhaust system which is just mind boggling.
Additionally, keep in mind the 900 wheel horsepower and 640 lb-ft of wheel torque figure is achieved on a Mustang dyno. The Evolution Performance Mustang GT supercharger kits will be capable of some serious power.

This just makes me more curious... How is the Voodoo V8 going to react to boost? I'm going to hope well, as previous flat plane crank V8s in Ferraris have, but I don't recall seeing the compression on it if it had been leaked already.
