    ILA0S_IS log JB4 28hex for Cyl 2-6 values

Hey guys. Not sure that anyone with ILA0S_IS has tested the 28hex for JB4 with Cyl 2-6 data so I did one tonight. Seems to be recording all channels. I forgot how cumbersome it was to log with a notebook! Click here to enlarge

Timing pull on all six cylinders. What flash did you use?

Looks like you attached the wrong photo, it's some sort of a 3rd party MAC interface. This is your chart with cyl 1-6 showing.

There is no timing pull. I shifted from 3rd to 4th. If anything, it barely loses timing when you hit the sweet spot.

Yeah I took a quick snapshot from the JB4 loaded on my iMac so just realized the picture didn't show all the data but the log was done with the new Windows interface with 28hex loaded. Otherwise it looks like it is recording fine. Any concern about Cylinder 2 showing lower timing post shift than the other cylinders? I know some have complained about Cylinder 5 being slightly off.

I don't have any concerns with timing recovering post shift at different rates. If looking for knock what I'd be primarily looking for is repeated 3 degree timing drops that are not the result of a shift and have no other good explanation.

Thanks Terry. I rarely see drops like that unless its IAT related (140+) and those are very rare since I upgraded my FMIC. No crazy 15° timing targets for me Click here to enlarge

It actually can get even better that. I have seen it drop to 8° or 9° timing at post shift coming nowhere near negative timing drops
