...........which leads me to a good question for you, Sticky.

In reading my most recent issue of - can't remember - Car and Driver or Motor Trend, in two different editorials saw mention of you cats in California, mostly SoCal being really into AMGs.

I mean, much, much moreso than any other state it strongly seemed to imply. Yes?

Of course, Cali being a poineer in so many ways automotive, so to speak, it's not surprising - lowrider culture, overall custom car & bike culture (including bicycles), etc., etc. Just had never read it.

What's the real deal, boss man?

I would say the real deal is there are a ton of people with money into everything. Yes, AMG's are everywhere. So are beautiful women with large breasts, offshore powerboats, huge homes, you name it. It's the number one state for car culture that is for sure.

At the last Los Angeles International car show on AMG preview night they mentioned that 89% of all AMGs made end up in California. I thought that was a astounding number...

Wow..........thank you both for the input. 89% is a LOT!!

And considering where I am, Cali's reality concerning the tremendous amount of hot mamas runnin' around (white, black, latina, asian, and innumerable mixtures down here - just like CA, of course), powerboats (huge in FL, period), and big a$$ expensive cribs............can totally relate to that. Shoot, my woman's one of 'em.Click here to enlarge With a 5.2 Lambo V10-packing Audi S8, no less! Click here to enlargeGotta love a smoking hot female Car Guy.

Would like to think we are #2 , but those boys & girls in Texas are no slouches, 'specially with trucks. Texans love them some trucks - some 15% of all US trucks sold there............and I ain't mad at 'em. Hell, if Texas was 4 times smaller (and vice versa), it'd be Florida.

Anyway, we are hopefully top 5 with the similar weather and all that.

    Ciao, gentlemen!!

Hey guys, yes all three are mine. C BS and CLK BS have been out there since early November. C is getting some heavy duty clutch packs so I can up the boost a bit more, 790whp is not nearly enough Click here to enlarge The CLK got another dose of boost to up the HP to even more impressive and insane levels. Weistec also worked on the CLK's suspension a bit more and moved some weight around for better transfer so I can get more of the HP to the ground and use it. SLS BS is not getting anything done to it, it is simply out there because that is where my hauler is and I am racing the SLS at Laguna Seca next weekend for the USCA race. I am going to try to run the entire series or at least a majority of it. All three cars are headed home in March...well not home but to various locations for various events around the country.

Dig it.........and nothing wrong with not living there again (needless to say). Realistically speaking, that's one of the cool things about our United States of America. If one doesn't suit our taste, regardless of reason, we can un-ass that state & head elsewhere.

For instance, your Texas is my New York or Connecticut. Grew up in those places, but now.............a great place to visit, but ya wouldn't wanna live there - as far as I'm concerned.

Still, I remain quite intrigued with your state. From what I've seen and what my cousins in Palmdale, Long Beach, and the Bay Area tell me?? You cats are having crazy fun all the time. Pretty much just like the 7 states I've lived in, but maybe just a tad moreso, on balance.

Anyway, dude, say hi to the ladies for me. Click here to enlarge Take it easy, Sticky.
