Only the bottom right portion of the OFT was altered and possibly the bulk of the curve taper. Log and compare DME boost actual between the 2 maps if you try it (while keeping the same load table). This is a good experiment, but maybe ATR peeps already knew this. I've played with this table before, but more pertaining to timing intervention (since I thought it was a limit) then focusing on req boost.

    Sounds interesting.....thanks Josh!

I had a quick look at the torque/load limit tables using the comparison tool in tunerpro just now and will try this out later today.

You may be right in that this may be limiting how much boost is being targeted.

The x-axis in those tables is obviously rpm......but what are the y-axis values?......Load?

Well....this was a good idea but it didn't work at all Click here to enlarge

Once the car warmed up I only got to half throttle and the car began to surge and the dash lit up like christmas.....the gas pedal did not respond and I barely pulled up a side street and used my BT cable to read codes.

Apparently some kind of gear control code was triggered by the changes to the torque/load tables.

So I uploaded an older map and all was good again.

Looks like no matter what I try, I cannot get more boost above 5K rpms. All sorts of safety protocols working against anything I try.

Looks very much like you cannot rely on what works on other flash products to translate directly into the OFT maps.

Cobb AP's V2's are selling for a great price at the moment =) We could have you dialed in within a few hours.

Stack Cobb with Procede? Is that what you mean.....because I still need the piggy to control the meth system.

Remember....Procede is still controlling the WGDC's when stacked.

This is good info, thanks for experimenting. Lulz and I ran into a similar issue with throttle mapping. Maybe one of the limit tables relate. Or there's more background differences between Cobb and the raw ROM edit. Doesn't mean we can't figure it out eventually. BTW: if you stack, req boost in the DME means squat.

If someone's great with excel I'd love to have a ROM file copied keeping the 16 byte columns and address locations... this way tables can be highlighted and notes inserted(at least for me this would be a good start). Im sure there's hex editors with these functions, but not the free ones I've tried. Anyway, just thinking out loud.

wanna try another map. Here's a very minor change in the torque reduction factor (everything else same as your orig)... unfortunately this is a slow one by one process.

Uh huh......I see a little less torque reduction 5300 rpm and higher in that table.

Worth a shot - but does anyone know how this factor works? Has anyone used this in a Cobb scenario successfuly?

@DCAFS you ever try the map with altered torque reduction factor... curious. Prob just a torque calc and does effect req boost.
