Aluminum tanks are a no no with Meth, unless you buy a tank liner kit. Unlike a aluminum manifold or CH, the Meth sits in the tank and will over time eat away and pit the tank, the chalk like debris, will eventually clog the nozzles. Ask any of the major WM companies SP, AEM, Aquamist, and HPF as well, you'll never see them selling / using Aluminum tanks either. Get a plastic tank just to be safe.

so finally i will be getting this bisch tuned on saturday by j-fonz. i have my vast break in tune on one ecu and have bought another ecu for j-fonz to tune with. antilag, no lift shifting, valet mode, 93 pump and sometime in the near future a race gas tune e85 tune.

ive changed a few things on the car which was holding me back from getting revisions done to my tune (ER sidemounts, built trans, vast oil cooler, alcon/stasis 370mm bbk with a8 rear setup, kosei 18inch wheels weighing in at 40.8lbs with 245 contis all around, jhm shift knob). ive been driving around on 19lbs and i cant wait to see how it feels with more boost and an aggressive street tune. just for reference it made 430awhp at 19lbs so it should be interesting.

having driven my buddies epl rs6 car recently, i have been ljelous of how much earlier his car hits full boost. if i dont like the way it feels with the new tune then i think i will have the 2560s rebuilt with billet wheels to aid spool up time or i will be picking up a set of used rs6 turbos send them out to scroll and get the bb, billet wheel option. opinions?

Here is my opinion. Your car sounds sick no matter what you do.

these are the ones that were on your car? i might pick up a set in need of a rebuild, send them in to scroll for the billet wheels and bb upgrade. its should cost me near 3gs for everything.

might be going with more displacement since my oil pump decided to seize while cruising down my street, luckily i caught the sucker just in time but while i have it out again i should just do it. the gts i had were 2560s, they didnt spool that well and didnt make the top end power that i wanted. the 770s should make over 600 on pump and with the added displacement they should spool up a couple hundred rpm sooner. my goal will be low 600s on pump and 700s on race gas file sometime later down the road. my clutch is also pretty bad, i fused it once and it was never the same. i want something that is affordable that will hold the power, i might be going with a spec triple carbon or something of that nature. ive never ran a spec unit but 034 seems to be having some luck with them, they are an affordable option and im going to give it a shot. i was also thinking about the southbend stage 5 feramic but its about the same price as the spec unit.

not really, i think the kit alone is 10k. i wouldnt mind doing that if i was using a a4 or something and wasnt so far into it with the 2.7 already.
