7-29 Data Logs

Hey guys,
Did a 3rd gear pull with the 7-29 maps. Map 1: 12psi, 100% ign Corr, Autotune on, No meth, on 91.


Pretty much FBO (except for 2nd cat). 6mt. Rev 2 procede. Changed spark plugs 1000 miles ago. Ambient temps 62 degrees F.

To tell you the truth, I never like autotuning as a feature. Since you are almost FBO I think you should already know what settings you should have with your car. A lot of autotuning logs I see has timing drops here and there and although it's a sign of knock, but a lot of times timing is reduce because of autotuning. Take out autotuning and log again. Also try some race gas or better brand of gas. If you want to see a better ignition install meth system. The weird part is even with $#@! gas and running such low boost pressure, why your ignition doesn't look better. My bet the autotuning crap

yeah turn autotuning off set IC100% and start with low boost like 12 initial 13 max and log again. keep on raising half psi till you see drop than back off again and use that as your daily map.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will do more logs and post them up. I also switched gas from 76 to Chevron.

Did more logs. Switch from 76 gas to Chevron, both 91 octane. Ambient temps were around 65 degree F.<br><br><br><br>Is this something to be worried about?&nbsp;

lower boost like 1 psi. you have timing drop just look at the can actual ign advance. you have to keep lowering boost and log till those drops are gone.

Yes, with autotune off.&nbsp;<br><br>More logs. 10psi autotune off. 44 degrees F ambient.<br><br>

Your not even running that much boost and you have timing drops. I guess the gas is really crap where u live. Only thing I would suggest is to throw some race gas in there to see if this is the issue.

I switched gas from 76 to Chevron. Both 91 octane. Im already at the lowest boost I can set it. I put the start boost at 10% =10psi. I cant go any lower..

If that's the case a meth kit should be in your future mods.

whats your max boost settings? put 12 psi max. But anyway try to put race gas or if you have e85 put like 1/4 of tank in there and log to see if fuel is the issue.

I dont have them yet. Can you please check if you have them. Might be worth a shot trying the 7-11 maps vs the 7-29 maps.
