Badass. Mike is a Bavarian Beast. I see Ramon/Headway builds his heads also. That's really a stock trans? Sounds like a dogbox in the 9.7 pass! Also, any idea what kind of clutch he's running?

sick runs, its amazing how much power these single turbo straight 6's are capable of. it makes you wonder why bugatti needs 16 cylinders and 4 turbos Click here to enlarge to achieve nearly the same wheel hp.

Well, the Veyron's curve looks better. Plus... if that W16 was uncorked... oh man.

good point about the motor being 'factory' in terms of potential. veyron runs 10.2 at 140 something right? pretty damn close, do you think that's because of awd vs rwd? because the weight difference is significant.

Yep, the Veyron runs around 140-142 which is decent. You would definitely expect more out of it for that cash but that isn't "slow" by any means.

It's a damn heavy car, that is for sure, and the DCT also limits the torque. The transmission alone is 250k. The motor would easily be capable of 1500+ hp without really trying. The AWD deifnitely affects the losses, 1000 hp should have trap speeds that are a bit higher. If BimmerBoost takes off and I become a billionaire for some reason I'll buy one and tweak it so we can find out Click here to enlarge

Man I am still floored that the OE trans can handle that kind of torque. I didn't give BMW enough credit!

Is the GT40r any bigger or better than the Precision turbo he was running?

NO, he was running a 76mm turbo and the gt4094r has like 68mm or 69mm compressor wheel. So, actually it was kind of a "downgrade." I forget why he did the change.

Better... I guess it spools sooner. The gt40 will make plenty of power. The other day someone made ~650whp on 17psi with pumpgas WITH Vic Sias tuning via a TEC3r.

Im pretty sure his Precision turbo is the same turbo im running at the moment, it most likely maxed out just below 1000whp. His car is setup well with the CCW wheels/tires and 2 step anti-lag.

    E-town is pretty cool.

Why does the East Coast have so many good tracks bunched up and in California we have just crap that is all far away? Not a single good track.

The East Coast definitely has some amazing tracks, sea level and prep wise. I remember a video from those runs where they walk up to the start line and the camera mans feet were literally sticking to the ground!! How insane is that???

That is how it should be, a track should be prepped to a professional level like that. Sacramento doesn't do that... and Famoso does a decent job but the owner is a prick.

I want to open a track, I honestly do. If I had the proper investors I could get it done. Want to throw a few hundred grand my way?
