Here are some new pictures I took today when I was at AR:
The stock factory cats
The new AR Race Catted N63 Downpipes
The New N63 Race Cat vs the current Cat being used on N54/N55 as you can see the N63 needs to flow much more hence the larger cat
Here you can compare the stock flex piping VS the New N63 flex piping. What cant be seen in this pictures(because I suck as a photographer) is how restrictive the stock flex pipe is inside vs the smooth 3" AR pipes
I will have more as the work progresses!

From what you saw is it just a lot of really tedious work, or stuff you would need special tools/ knowledge to remove? Holding out hope that this still may be a DIY, even if it takes a couple days
Also - presumably going catless is going to cause O2 codes. Have you put any thought in how you'll get around those?

No special tools required. IMHO it is a pretty straight forward DIY job just a bit of a pain. Honestly andrew's estimate of 10 hours is the maximum it should take. As for the 02 sensors I originally was gonna go catted for that reason but in talking to the company that is gonna tune my car they assured me that either they can take care of it when doing the tune or will adapt 02 sims(none currently exist) but one way or another it will be gone.

That's correct. And actually the plan is if after the catless dp and eisenmann race mufflers I can still stand the volume and drone of the exhaust I'll change all piping to 2.5" mandrel bent and swap the secondary cats for random technology(they are in Atlanta) high flow cats. Probably overkill for now but I've got a big # in my head and I gotta think ahead(I hate doing the same thing twice)

Yeah they are. I just have been on vacation so I haven't been too in the loop. They are going to install those and the innovate OT-2 and TC-4 plus the LC-1 and EGT probe for me.
