GT Spirit road test of the F10 Alpina B5

Our friends at GT spirit sent us a message earlier today that they had done a road test of the new F10 Alpina B5. GT spirit has put up several of our articles over the past year and now we can finally return the favor. The Alpina B5 features a modified N63 V8 twin turbo similar to the unit in the B7 with larger turbos and new tuning raising output from from 400 horsepower to 507. The suspension is lowered for a sportier look and ride with a restrained Alpina body kit adding subtle aggression to the exterior. Unlike the F01 B7, The F10 B5 is not currently scheduled to come to the US.

Of course this is not coming stateside as it would be a direct competitor to the F10 M5. I actually like the Alpina F11 Touring more than this car. I would give Alpina all the props for quality and craftsmansip though!

In Europe they have the same problem with it overlapping with the M5 yet it is for sale there. This car is more of an in between the M5 and 550i.

I respect Alpina for changing the turbos and internals, giving it some headroom.
