I have more than one Busa..I have an '09 thats stock except for a pipe(everybody has a pipe on their Busa lol)that is what Im bringing out to run Nismo with...I also have a '00 Busa that is a little bit more *serious* than my '09 and that is what I am running the UGR Lambo with as soon as he lets me know its ready for action.

Both bikes will be at Atco

Honestly I don't think I'm going to spank him at all. Ill admit I'm a little intimidated by his car its fast. But I don't think he is going to destroy me. We will just have to wait and see.

+1 it's usually pretty silly to run a busa with any car.

Not really, on the top end cars have less drag so there are a good number of powerful cars that can takes bikes on the highway.

Maybe the UGR TT or a similar car can run a busa but this won't be remotely close. 60-130 he'll beat him by 10+ cars. Still fun though

No, they won't be close but there are cars that can take bikes. Supras have been doing it on the highway for years.

I agree and said as much in my post but this run will be real lopsided but like I said still fun. Hell when I was in la last week I ran my rented Kia soul vs a modified 300zx TT on the highway for a good while driving San Diego to LA so I'd be all for it but it just won't be close. Those supras need to be over 1000whp to beat a busa on the highway.

Lol I used to get into huge heated debates on 6speedonline over this very topic.
Racing bikes w cars is always a crap shoot since its extremely rider-dependant. Id say 95% of the sportbikes one will encounter on the street are ridden by riders who absolutely cannot 60' their bike,period. They will run you from a roll&if they have a clue&are in the right gear @ the right rpm they will put up a good run&win 98% of the time.

Then there are the monster single turbo Supra's,1500+whp UGR Gallardo's,maybe a Porsche or two&definitley the 1000-1200whp GTR's. In order for a bike to run anything over 1000whp you need some decent engine work if your bike is N/A..For the monster UGR 1500+whp Lambos a fully built 550-600+rwhp turbo Busa will be the only bike that would beat those cars.

That being said,a skilled rider on the right streetbike will easily take a TT UGR Lambo from the dig..same can be said for the 7sec Supra's..there are plenty of 7sec street legal bikes at the track that would put up big money to run any of those cars.
I have yet to lose to any car on the street from the dig on any of my bikes&I've been dragracing bikes since '87..thats not to say I cant be beat,just so happens I havent

A stock engine Gen2 Busa w bolt-ons is capable of 201-203mph in the standing mile..the fastest all motor Busa in the standing mile is right around 220..as of now the fastest time recorded for the standing mile(car/bike) belongs to Bill Warner at 278mph with his turbo Busa
