      R10 V12 TDI Diesel Le Mans Racecar

      I think we should start this section of the forum with the legendary V12 Diesel Le mans car that won the 2006 24 hours of Le Mans race and kept spanking Le Mans years after.


      Fun facts about the car:

      5.5 Liter V12

      Twin turbos supplied by Garrett

      Power output: About 700 hp

      5 Speed transmission (this is uncommon, but because its a diesel it has enough torque to allow the car to stay in gear longer which also saves shift time)

      Audi has been dominating Le Mans for some time now. Their streak of dominance really is rather incredible and they just keep getting better.
