Nissan VT30DDTT overall 1/4 mile record reset with AMS R800 Q50 running 9.63@144 1/4 mile

This is a GPS result and not an actual timeslip posted but there is no doubt of the performance level here with the tuner involved. Really, this points to how awesome the new Z is going to be as a tuner platform and how quickly AMS will be able to get that car to move.

I’ll keep this one brief. This build would’ve never gone this far without help and dedication of Jacob Compton Miles Compton and AMS Performance. I’m incredibly thankful for their support and true passion for this platform. I am honored that Jake was the one who drove the car on this new record pass, he deserves it more than anyone Dan would’ve been very proud of us
    Now to technical stuff:
-The car made a tiny bit more boost than it did on my pass, however since the guys used gas station winter blend in combination with 104 octane Sunoco race fuel Jake turned down the timing by 3 degrees estimating around 810-820 whp
    - No new prep was used, just a quick dry burnout and go on a bit of old cold rubber
    - 1000 hp level10 transmission package seems to be handling the power like a champ
    - 1.55 60ft and 2.36 0-60 in 19 degree weather launching in 1st gear is absolutely insane! I can’t wait to pilot the car at the track at full power and grip
VR30 is coming in hot this year

These cars just don’t move the needle for me. It could be the fastest best handling car in the world, it’s looks just don’t to it any favors imo. The new Z doesn’t blow my socks off only real thing I like on them is the rear taillights.

The Z is a homerun with this motor at its pricepoint IMO. I'd rather have it than the Supra as at least Nissan isn't just reskinning a Z4 but reskinning a Z.
