This is why the GT500 Mustang and the 5.2 liter Predator V8 make for such a great platform. You can get nearly 900 rear wheel horsepower with bolt on modifications and tuning for E85 ethanol.

Yes, this does require upgraded fuel injectors but as the motor is port fuel inject rather than direct fuel injected it makes fueling upgrades to support ethanol at this output level much, much easier.

Absolutely awesome power curve although torque does dip a bit past 6000 rpm. Notice the motor easily keeps spinning past 8000 rpm though.

A couple more modifications and this GT500 should have no problem topping 9XX rwhp on E85 with the factory blower.
