    Weistec's Gen 2 $30k Huracan/R8 5.2 V10 twin turbo kit good for 750 awhp on 91 octane pump gas

There is a lot of competition these days in the twin turbo 5.2 V10 sector. It feels like every major tuner offers a twin turbo kit for the platform. The good news is that with more competition come more affordable options and Weistec's second generation twin turbo kit is a certainly a great choice to consider.

In California you are relegated to 91 octane fuel for the most part. If you want a potent daily driver on 91 octane, this kit works well.

How does 750 awhp sound at only 7 psi of boost on pump gas?

The twin Precision PT6266's are capable of much more power of course but at 7 psi on 91 octane you do not have to worry about the transmission, fueling, engine internals, etc. It just works as advertised.

There certainly are crazier, more expensive, more powerful, and more complex kits out there but this is certainly a great option for a daily driven pump gas car and there certainly is room to grow.

All exhaust components are tig welded 304 stainless steel construction and flanges are CNC machined to ensure best quality. After welding, exhaust plumbing is brushed for a clean finished look. Turbo blankets are included to keep heat in the turbine housings for better turbo response and to help reduce radiant heating of other components. A large head shield is also included to protect the bumper from hot exhaust piping

The Twin Turbo Kit features an intercooler system designed to be as effective as possible without requiring body or chassis modifications. All the coolant lines for the intercoolers are -12AN sized stainless braided lines that are also shielded. Each intercooler has its own side mounted heat exchanger with an aluminum shroud featuring dual Spal fans. The fans ensure that there is always good airflow across the heat exchangers to help keep intake air temperatures under control. The intercooler recovery tank bolts in behind the engine oil tank and has an integrated stainless steel heat shield to protect against radiant heat from the downpipes.

Basically the AMS entry level kit from years back. The only difference today is there are many great tuning options for sub 1K HP builds.

Bigger power = bigger $$ as you need to build the transmission/clutch.

*the blue line looks a little out of place
