installed Nissan 1.6 pink injectors last weekend and went back to the OEM maf tube and things are definitely getting better.
I’m going to reinstall the OEM fuel filter/regulator because this SPA FMU acts really funny under vacuum and I’ll have the FMU setup only the raise fuel pressure under boost and leave the fuel regulating to OEM regulator.

    2002 540i6
    Stock ECU
    Stock fuel filter and regulator
    Stock Maf
Vortech FMU with 6:1 rise rate
    1993 Nissan 1.6L injectors

Car starts/idles/cruises like OEM like id expect however,.... part throttle tip in has a huge lean spot.
I originally was using a 4:1 rise rate with the same problem.

Idle AFR is in the 13s
Cruise AFR is just in the 15s
    LTFT = -0.8

What I have found is there is a huge lean tip in until you go way past part throttle to WOT and even then the car doesnt go into open loop until high RPMs. I think this will be incurable without tuning help; whether standalone or a flash tuning... the supercharger even outside of boost is pushing air into the engine faster than the ECU is expecting to see it and makes a wide lean area visible on my AFR guage.

So is this amg kompressor kit forgotten ?
I think this is not very difficult to install, we can use amg oem ev6 440cc injectors.
What needs to do is: water to air heat exchanger on hood, waterpump, hoses and tank of course. Adapters plenum to heads and probably sc pulley offsett is wrong.
Sc pulley have magnetic clutch switch but that can be control by vacuum switch, bypass valve can be change vacuum/boost controlled.
Here is one kit, i dont know why damper is replaced billet pulley... Amg lower pulley is 151mm and m62 have 145mm ?
I cant paste ebay link but one est seller sell amg 55 kompressor kit for m60/62 engine.

I would say so. I didn't know AMG had a supercharger setup for the M62...

Hey everyone, I wanted to post here with a post-mortem of my build and how it ended.
After getting everything installed and trouble shooting idle and drivability problems it turns out my problem was a simple one... clogged cats... I had deleted my primary converters before installing the kit and left the rear ones intact (because i dont like the smell) and it turns out that while running the original jaguar injectors (460cc) and trying to pull fuel pressure to get a smooth idle, i must have put too many hours on the cats like this and they clogged the 18 year old original converters.
This really sucks because i feel like i was so close to getting it to run with those pink nissan sunny 1.6 (200cc) injectors. I only found out this was the cause after the drivability problems followed me when i went back to NA and i was going down the long diagnosis path which took upwards of 2 weeks after work to figure out my problem (i had already sold and shipped my kit to a new owner by this point)

I want to post this here because i really do think that this setup or one similar is needed as an alternative to $7,000Canadian vortech/dinan centrifugal kits that are impossible to find used.
I hope someday someone can lift up the mantle i was trying so hard to trouble shoot and get a finished product for the economical tuner like me.

My last post here painted a grim picture so i wanted to clear the air.

I had under $3000Canadian in this kit running for everything before i started chasing fuel injectors and different fuel setups and FMU's and fuel pressure regulators.

In the future I will probably come back to this setup and try to get it running with the pink nissan sunny injectors and an FMU

Well at you least you were honest about it and provided what seems to be a viable path.

Frankly I'm astounded there is as much interest in this platform still as there is. It would be nice to have an off the shelf Eaton swap kit but there is enough info posted here for guys to be able to piece it all together I think.

Can anyone post any pictures of the modifications that need to be done to the jag supercharger? I would greatly appreciate it, I’m trying to decide whether to attempt it or send it to Toolman and have him do it for $450. Thanks

Click here to enlarge machine off the lower mount on the supercharger, tap two holes in the rear to match the mount kit you buy, and flip the pulley around, Click here to enlarge fill in the existing jaguar throttle body bolt pattern and tap in the bmw throttle body pattern, cap off the jaguar EGR on the opposite side from the barbs, install another 3/16 barb on the same side as all the other barbs.

I would conclude with sending the pieces to someone is worth the money to make sure it fits correctly.

Dont know if anyone has seen this yet but it looks like there is a new seller for the adapters out there:

    (Install video)

jhelgesen at ymail.com is the contact.
Id love to know what pricing is like.
my main interest here is a new cnc fuel injector adapter and rail which adapts top feed injectors (like the oem BMW 540i style) rather than jaguars expensive side feed setup.

I have an '95 E34 540i/6. I'm on following on bimmerboards as well. You made a statement on the supercharging thread how M62 can take more boost then the S62. Why is that? I have a m60 with 120k miles on it atm. I was thinking about going s62 but if the m62tu is more rock-solid (and probably cheaper); I would be inclined to go that way instead.

    Sincerely,

    David P.

M62 is smaller bore, beefier cylinder walls.

Looking for Toolman. Does anyone have a contact source for an adaptor kit for the M62 for an M112, M122 or any other "root" style Supercharger?
