Even the supercars are not immune. The McLaren Artura is ushering the next generation of performance hybrids (at a much more affordable price point than the unicorn P1) but those interested will have to wait until the second half of 2022.

Why? The chip shortage and general supply issues. This is a problem that is not going away until 2023 at the earliest.

The Artura was already supposed to be on the road in the third quarter of 2021. This delay is considerable.

We held on longer than everybody else in terms of stopping production, but unfortunately, our semiconductor supply dried up. That made us have to reduce production across the board.
Hopefully the Artura is not delayed even further.
