The SVE Oletha is the 3090 pound naturally aspirated V8 powered Z Coupe we wish BMW built
This is the SVE (Smit Vehicle Engineering) Oletha prototype. A bunch of car sites are running around calling this a Z8 Coupe which is, well, stupid. SVE does not disclose the chassis underpinning the Oletha but it sure look like a Z4 Coupe is involved.
Furthermore, there are those saying the Oletha is better looking than the Z8 which is clearly clickbait. The Oletha looks like a mashup of Z8 rear with Z4 side proportions and a face that is not quite sure what it wants to be.
What BimmerBoost likes are the specifications. A 4.4 liter S65 V8 is involved with an 8500 rpm redline. Power is sent to a 6-speed manual as it should be for a vehicle like this.
What does it weigh? 3090 pounds. Roughly ~400 pounds less than a manual E92 M3.
A Z8 Coupe it is not but it points to what BMW could build if they were interested in building the Ultimate Driving Machine.

I like it, I don't think its ugly at all. The rear end especially is good and the front for sure is reminiscent of the Z8 which I like.
