Installed Procede V5 today
First, the install was easier than I expected. Took a little less than an hour including my mistake of breaking the very small BMW spade from the power connector and having to make a new connection. Most challenge was getting to the battery to disconnect.
All that to say, the installation of the plug and plays are as easy as advertised. A little diligence and the ability to follow a video are all that is required.
Tomorrow I tackle the Injen dual cone intake. Hopefully it will be a similar undertaking.
Merry Christmas to me.

I installed the Injen intake today. It took me a little over an hour mainly because the instructions were not clear on some areas. The instructions have a common section for the first part, then go into a section that is only for 335i's and then a section that is only for 135i's without telling you when they switch back to common and only 135i steps. Somewhat confusing to a novice. I was fortunately able to go onto the autoanything site and get a color pdf of the instructions which was a lot better than the black and white photos that came directly from injen.
The car is producing roughly 14 psi boost at present and you can hear the turbo's spin up now with the intake. I have to plan a day to go out to some back roads and see what it does once it tunes up a bit. No issues with a miss fire using the paddles and letting the auto change near red line. LostMarine may be correct that this doesn't occur below 16 psi. No lights flashing, so it appear that I don't have any issues with the install. Fuel mileage is 11.2 mpg, but I have been a little foot happy since the reset with the battery. . We'll see if it is any different in normal driving.
Only issues with the install were the broken connector on the power pin as noted before and I had to re-sync the windows auto lowering on opening (its a convertible). Found a thread which told me to raise the window and hold the up button for 10 seconds and lower the window and hold the down button for 10 seconds and that worked.

Thanks for the info. Would you by chance have a picture of the clip that breaks (apparently easily)?

I don't have a picture since it all covered up. The clip is the power spade that comes out of the BMW connector and plugs into the female connector on the Procede. I cut the wire and used a larger spade connector on both sides to get the car running. The nice folks at Vishnu have promised to send me a connector with an orange wire connected so that I can put it back in line when I remove the pnp for service.
The spade is BMW Part # 61138364833 and the female connector used on the Procede is BMW Part #6113864832, I went ahead and purchased 4 males and 4 females from Tischer in case I break another one when I unplug or plug it. The cost was less than $10 since I was already buying some other stuff which covered the shipping. The spade is very small and it is easy to break trying to plug it into the female side. It takes a special crimp tool to crimp the original connector, fortunately I have buddy that has one if I need it. It is my understanding that the crimp tool is about $60.

Here is a link to the exploded views of the parts. They are 8 and 11. The pin that broke was an 11 on the bmw side.

^ You worked around the pin breaking right so is it a big deal if it happens?

When I had the Procede v4/v5 I had issues with that connector. Not looking forward to messing with it again now I have a JB4 in the mail. Thanks for posting the part numbers.
Got to get some spares!

No it's not a big deal, just a little of a hassle. I am planning to keep a large connector on the pin switch so that I don't have to deal with the small pins after I put the one on the wire when I have to change it out. I guess if BMW wants to get upset that there is larger spade connector connecting the pin to the power connector they can just get upset. The car is a CPO so who knows that I didn't get it that way.
