Tuned McLaren 720S vs. big turbo 6-speed manual Porsche 997.2 Turbo S

The full Porsche 997.2 Turbo specs are not provided here but it had some engine work (owner claims just upgraded rods) and obviously some big turbochargers. It is a manual transmission example which is a large factor when facing a McLaren 720S.

Especially a tuned McLaren 720S making 773 rear wheel horsepower.

The 911 Turbo is very powerful but it loses ground on each shift. In gear, the Turbo seems to pull but those gear shifts of the dual clutch just can not be beat.

If the race was longer the 911 Turbo would edge the McLaren out likely. Still, it is a good race and the Turbo goes toe to toe with a tuned McLaren 720S while the owner rows his own gears.

For reference, the 720S is doing 60-130 in 4.17 seconds and running the 1/4 mile in 9.45 @ 151.77.
