Hey, what is with the Canadians getting the Mercedes-AMG A35 and not the USA? How does that make sense? Anyway, it is the 45 AMG models with the M139 AMG 2.0 I4 that get all of the tuning attention due to having the world's most powerful production four-cylinder motor.

The M260 DE20 LA 2.0 liter in the 35 AMG models is no slouch though and Mercedes really upped its game in the 2.0 liter I4 area.

In stock form output is 302 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Look at what Eurocharged Canada does with a Stage 1 dyno tune:

The stock output is underrated but with a pump gas tune along with a catless downpipe and air filter output goes to 325 horses at all four wheels. Peak torque goes up to 330 lb-ft at all four wheels.

Sure, it doesn't match the A45 AMG but this is a nice Mercedes tuning value and it goes to show how stout the mid-range 2.0 liter Mercedes-AMG motors are now.
