There will be no hardcore Challenger ACR track car
DodgeBoost doubted this car would be built as it made little sense. Our instincts were correct as Dodge stated officially no ACR version of the Challenger for roadcourse work would be built and the rumors were incorrect.
Dodge seems content keeping the Challenger models muscle cars and that is what they excel at. Why try to turn them into something they will never be good at especially at a large price point increase.

The Challenger has a home in the Trans AM TA and TA2 class, however with COVID, the series has been relegated to eSports.
Only one race was held year to date and it appears the TA2 Challenger did not make the start.
There was on TA class Challenger entered which just cracked the top 10.
The bulk of the race season has been postponed, so it will be interesting to see if any cars are going to be entered into the field.
