GT500 on factory blower pulley plus E85 tuning and bolt ons - 858 rwhp at 8550 rpm, [email protected] 1/4 mile

The Predator V8 continues to show what a beast it is and this example is not even asking for more boost from the TVS2650 blower. There is a whole lot more in this car even if 858 horsepower to the rear wheels sounds like a lot.

This is where it was to where it is now:

    It also ran a 10.2 @ 148.8 mph pass:

There's a test drive video below and it sure looks and sounds like fun. Ford did a hell of a job:

an A10 GT on sticky tires will do with this with a whipple on e85. Kinda disappointing when you think about it.

It's still early in tuning for the GT500 especially the TCU.

Great numbers. I'm curious what the race weight was. Looks to have carbon buckets, rear seat delete, and a light driver so I'd imagine this car probably weighs 250-300lbs less than an OEM car with 200lb driver in it.

    That's a very good point.

The new norm. IF you're able to get into the ECU and tune the car, you still have to figure out how to access the TCU to tune it as well.

Has anyone seen a wrecked gt500 yet? I think it says a lot that a car this powerful has been able to avoid making headlines for that reason for this long in comparison to other big power rwd cars. Just a random thought.
