BMW F98 X4M Competition vs. Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio dig run
The odds of these two meeting up at a stoplight? Pretty good actually considering how popular performance SUVs are. These are two of the best examples when you factor in power, weight, handling, and how fun they are to drive.
On paper the stats are similar but we all know BMW is sandbagging hard with the new S58 motor. In the real world it is the stronger motor compared to the 2.9 liter F154 V6 in the Alfa.
Now, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio is ~400 pounds lighter which is significant. If the stats on paper are accurate, it should run away in this drag race.
It doesn't despite the better start. The Alfa seemingly got a jump for drama purposes but the X4M does run it down and pass. That means from a roll, it should have no trouble at all pulling away.
No trap speeds are included but clearly these are two very quick SUV's:
