BMW N63TU3 0-160 mph acceleration in the G16 M850i xDrive Gran Coupe - 0-60, 100-200 kph, 1/4 mile

BMW is going to stretch the 8-series platform to as many variants as they can. That is the game today and this is the 'four-door' coupe version of the 8-Series or the G16 chassis. It certainly looks great as a four-door but the already heavy platform gains weight.

Fortunately it offers stout powerplants with the N63TU3 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 powering the M850i version. The motor is underrated and responds very well to tuning.

Well, the big boat hustles. 100-200 kph in 9.07 stock is respectable:

As is the 11.86 1/4 mile ET (although no trap speed shared):

This car is not a tuning value just yet but used examples will no doubt take a big hit and at that point an M850i Gran Coupe with a tune will be very appealing.
