Tuned Lamborghini Aventador SVJ vs. supercharged Lamborghini Huracan and bolt on 991.2 GT2 RS

The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ (Superveloce Jota) is the highest performance Aventador produced by Lamborghini. It not meant for highway runs but built to dominate the roadcourse which it does as evidenced by holding the current Nurburgring production car lap record.

Lamborghini strips out weight and gets more power out of the high strung and naturally aspirated 6.5 liter V12. It's fast but keep in mind the aerodynamics produce quite a bit of drag.

There is not much left to get out of the motor which is why the results below are surprising. It pulls on a supercharged Huracan which should be a 140+ trap car and dispenses with what is said to be a bolt on tuned 991.2 GT2 RS rather easily which should not be possible.

    Take a look for yourself.

Edit: Subsequent runs show the GT2 RS pulls just as it should when the Aventador does not jump. Misleading video replaced.

Agreed but an NA Aventador isn't taking down a tuned GT2 RS. People on IG are idiots.

A stock GT2RS traps ~140mph, a supercharged huracan does little over that ~141mph. The st2 dme kits for the aventador add ~80hp, looks like this svj is trapping ~142-143mph. A tuned GT2RS would have no problem trapping 145+, seems the tune was hindering this particular GT2 more than helping it Click here to enlarge

I'd say closer to 137 for the GT2 RS stock.

    Exactly.
C&D has the GT2RS @140mph, i never trusted its original huracan 135mph traps but hold this comparison true as it has the zr1 trapping 131MPH which is just about right....

For sure but the GT2 RS is lighter and making 720+ whp and a ton more torque when bolt on tuned + the PDK.

Anyway, the one race shows what should happen. A tuner is just using the videos where the Aventador jumps ahead to pump their 'tune'

If it really was faster, we'd have GPS data.

I agree a modded GT2RS would be quicker!
