F80 M3 dyno overlay between hybrid turbo upgraded S55 and KRATOS KRAS55Bbi turbo upgraded S55 - 684 vs. 810 whp with no additional lag

This F80 M3 originally started with a hybrid turbo setup. This is the most common turbo upgrade type for the S55 platform but you are limited by the factory manifold design. The KRATOS KRAS55bi turbo upgrade does not just provide new turbo housings and wheels but a completely new manifold design.

Why does that make a difference? Well, the graph below illustrates it perfectly:

Notice the huge top end power disparity yet the spool characteristics being practically the same. Literally no sacrifice in lag yet a major benefit up top. It is not witchcraft at work:

Here is an overlay of the recent results from @theedrb’s KRAS55Bis on E85 vs. his prior hybrid turbo setup on E85 + Meth.

The much larger rotor group of the KRAS55Bi shows identical spool characteristics due in part to the decreased frictional resistance of our dual ceramic ball bearings.

The larger rotor group and more efficient high pressure design provides linear power into the 800WHP levels on the stock S55 engine!
Keep in mind both graphs are on a stock S55 motor but the hybrid graph is with E85 and methanol plus timing bumped to the max versus E85 only for the KRATOS setup.

Furthermore, the hybrids are at 36-37 psi of boost compared to 34 psi for the KRASSbi's. An absolutely incredible efficiency gain especially when you consider the 2500+ DA dyno conditions.

Wow, much more power with less boost (and hopefully a bigger safety margin). That is a win-win!
