8V Audi RS3 sedan 1/4 mile time before and after APR 91 octane 2.5 TFSI ECU tune

This is just a very simple comparison showing the stock Audi 8V RS3 sedan at the dragstrip compared to a subsequent run with the APR Stage I 91 octane ECU software. Keep in mind the 91 octane tune is the most mild Stage I software APR offers for the 2.5 TFSI.

The car picks up almost 5 miles per hour in the 1/8 mile and almost 7 miles per hour in the 1/4 mile:

For 91 octane pump gas software alone, that is fantastic.

The vast majority of RS3's will not be going to the high level of tuning you often see featured on the AudiBoost pages. Most owners will just opt for software and as the slips show, software makes a huge difference even on pump fuel.
