177+ miles per hour out of an Evo X? That is cooking! Congratulations are in order to TPG Tuning who helped tune this Evo X on a Haltech standalone ECU. The result is a new platform record and an Evo X knocking on the 7-second door.

The car is just shy of 137 miles per hour in the 1/8 mile:

The car belongs to Matt Galiano (@mattg4983) and as for the mods:

M1 methanol tune. New parts in the head also trying a few new thing to help from tuliping exhaust valves ,new PTE 76/85 gen 2 ,electric water pump,few things powder coated

This is pretty much a drag car at this point and the full details are not disclosed (it's well over 1000 awhp) but wow what a car and build it is.
