X5M F85 2017 Tune only JB4
Picked up a ‘17 X5M to replace my wife’s Macan Turbo. Installed a JB4 today after having the local dealer do the 1200 mile inspection at 587miles
Map 2 : wow what a difference the tune makes - really livens things up.
Gas light came on so I figured I would put my vbox on it before I got gas.
0-60 : 3.2
0-100 : 7.4
1/4 mile : 11.3 @ 122.9mph
60-130 : 9.6
came back around and bested that with :
0-60 : 3.1
0-100 : 7.1
We have a pending snow storm, otherwise I’m thinking I could have found some left over VP Import and ran a 10.9 onMap 7.
P.s. 60-130 shows the weight of this thing - hard to imagine my GTR does it in 4.3 and hoping for low 3’s this year.

1’ roll out - .21 seconds
11.32 1/4 @ 122.86
38 degrees and probably close to -500 DA
Best 0-60 same day was 3.01
Anyone looking for a tune on the F85/F86 would be well served to go with a JB4.

It’s intersting to see how the Launh Control shortshifts so much in 1st and 2nd. Will definitely need to shift this manually and see if time improves. Have a feeling there is so much tq that it might not make a difference with regards to ETA.

Still loving the JB4 93 tune. Truck is a beast on the street.
3.2 to 60 all day and 11.2-4. Can’t wait for map 7.
Anybody that doesn’t have the draggy, get one. I came off early on the one below.

This is also without 1ft rollout like on the vbox. So 2.9-3.0 0-60

Forgot my laptop at home so didn’t bother to run map 7 on MS109.
Map 2 93 octane and majority 120+ mph runs.
Drove 1hr to track and hot lapped 10x. Runs all within .2 of each other.
Terry this JB4 is so smooth. Roasted a Z06, Hellcat, C63, M5, Fox body and even a caprice.

Was hoping DA was low enough (2,000) to get the X5M into the 10’s on tune only with 100 octane on Map 7.
11.21 was the best with multiple runs in the 123 +/- range.
0-60 3.28 (3,08 1ft roll out)
60-130 9.26
Another month and will give it a shot again.
