Volvo's do not get much tuning love. Why? Well, the buyers tend to be boring as the brand is associated with safety and not performance. The company itself wants to limit its cars to a 112 mile per hour speed limit. Boring, yes. Lame, yes.

That does not mean there are not Volvo enthusiasts though and Volvo turbo powerplants can produce surprising power with a little but of tuner love.

This S60R is getting a Borg Warner EFR 7670 turbocharger. The S60R as a reminder offers 296 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque from a 2.5 liter turbo inline-5 with an optional 6-speed manual and standard all wheel drive.

The factory compression ratio is 8.5:1. It should be able to take a good amount of boost and we all know how other turbo I5's are faring in the aftermarket.

We will bring you numbers when they are posted but this should be one Volvo with some serious power.
