Sweet baby jesus that thing is pure sex! It seems like it gets full boost pretty early too for such a big turbo

Yeah, 4300RPM isn't too bad for revving to 7300RPM. And it looks like the torque rolls on fairly smoothly. I think this thing could make even more with some race gas, considering the 8.5:1 comp ratio and the other mods.

16psi is barely anything for that turbo.

So like 25 psi on race gas you are thinking?

Something around there. My VG30DETT is stock internals (8.5:1 comp ratio) and with two Garrett GT2560s I can run 24psi on Q16 safely. I have 555cc injectors and all supporting mods, no meth/water.

    A GT2560 is good for about 330HP. So x2 (my setup) = 660HP

    A GT4094R is good for about 800HP.

His "high boost" setting, 16psi, could be hit very easy and quickly with a Garrett GT3076, but wouldn't make as much power at the same boost level, and would cap out at about 560HP as he brought boost levels up.

The GT4094R can run almost 50psi, depending on the motor and other factors.

the oil-less Comp turbo's are looking pretty spiffy right about now.

Wow, I had no idea that existed, thanks for pointing that out! Never tap for oil lines again, reduced friction, no oil coking, no need to position for gravity feed, no worrying about inlet restricter, no oil leaks through the turbo seals, awesome!

yeah man, they look awesome, no data out that I can find on how well they work yet but theoretically they are the bees knees.

BMW bottom mounts are notorious for having oil drain issues. If those were out when I built my car, it would have one on it no doubt.

As he stated, the motor build is going to be the expensive part.

They do have some nice stock internal setups.
