Chevrolet doesn't pretend the Camaro ZL1 1LE is anything but a driver's tool. That is why it only comes with a manual. If you care about a tenth of a second on paper more than driver interaction look elsewhere.

This is the type of car that separates the poser from the purist. Unfortunately, these cars are a dying breed. So are real automotive enthusiasts though.

The ZL1 gets the C7 Z06 LT4 V8 but it does not get the heat soak issues that come with it thanks to heavily upgraded cooling. That makes sense considering it is built to track.

That is why you can adjust the wing, ride height, rear stabilizer bar, and camber plates. Tailor it to whatever track you want to tailor it to.

As for straightline speed, it's slower than an automatic ZL1. Once again, that isn't what this is about.

If you get it, you get it. If you don't, you don't.
